Diversified's software, the MedEase Practice Management System,
used in both the health care professionals' office and the billing service environment, is a complete health care billing and scheduling software that adapts easily to all health care specialties. MedEase is always up-to-date.

Technology and Security

Diversified's state of the art servers are housed in a tightly controlled, locked environment. Data is backed up nightly on all servers, moved to a neutral server, burned on to a CD, and then stored off-site for maximum data protection. Diversified clients receive a copy of their data on CD each month for personal storage.

Diversified offers web-based access to all clients for real-time access to their patient information. Many clients use the MedEase scheduling software. The MedEase scheduler works seamlessly with Diversified's MedEase billing software to print patient encounter forms that include current patient information: patient name, address, insurance coverage, account balance, aging, etc... Diversified gives each client a custom menu with access to patient information, on-demand reports, note and alert message input, and more. Each client is unique which is why Diversified listens to our client's requests and accommodates their needs. Few billing service can, or are willing to, provide complete access to your patient information.

Diversified submits all possible third party claims electronically. Electronic claims are transmitted throughout the business week. Unlike many billing services that send all electronic claims to single national claims clearinghouse, Diversified sends claims directly to Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, Tricare, Department of Labor, Railroad Medicare, and finally Emdeon. We avoid the middleman whenever possible.

Diversified assists our clients with selecting and setting up the hardware and software required to exchange data electronically. Scanning and sending information through a secure Internet connection is the fastest, easiest, most efficient and most cost effective form of exchanging data.

Diversified takes security very serious. Our clients access their data through secure, encrypted, Internet connections. Each user is assigned a unique login that allows access to their data only. All access and movement within our network is tracked and monitored for your protection.
